My first dog was a cross-collie in 1974 and I've had numerous companion dogs ever since. My first golden retreiver however, came to me in 1980 which started an amazing life-long love affair with this amazing all-rounder breed.
Although I always have golden retrievers, other breeds and mixes somehow creep in to my pack too. One of these with me now is a 17 year-old border terrier called Boo. She was a rescue dog and only has one eye but has never let that get her down, she's even appeared in 2 stage productions of 'Annie' where she played Sandy!
